Nevada High School Volleyball - Douglas tips Pershing County

August 19, 2023: Lovelock, NV 89419

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Douglas Tigers (Minden, NV) and the host Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV), saw Douglas's volleyball squad nip Pershing County by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Douglas moves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Pahranagat Valley (Alamo, NV) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 19. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 0-2. Pahranagat Valley lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA)

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV) in a 2A Northern outing, on Wednesday, August 30. Pershing County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Bighorns go into the outing with a 3-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Mammoth (Mammoth Lakes, CA).
