Texas High School Volleyball - Seguin can't hold off Ellison

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Ellison Eagles volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Seguin Matadors.

The Eagles (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX). The Rangers come into the non-league battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Fort Bend Clements was edged by Navarro (Geronimo, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Matadors encounter the Floresville Tigers (Floresville, TX) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 22. Seguin will attempt to advance on its 7-11 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 12-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over MacArthur (San Antonio, TX).
