Colorado High School Volleyball - Sanford Gunnison

The Gunnison Cowboys volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Sanford Mustangs to 1 in the Cowboys non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cowboys now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aspen for a 3A Western Slope game on Friday, August 25.

The Mustangs (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Custer County (Westcliffe, CO). The Bobcats enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Custer County gained a win over Cripple Creek-Victor (Cripple Creek, CO), 3-0, in a league game.
