The South Gate Rams volleyball team (South Gate, CA), went down 3-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Heritage Christian Warriors (Northridge, CA)

The Warriors (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Central City Value (Los Angeles, CA). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Central City Value defeated Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences (Granada Hills, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rams encounter the Dr. Maya Angelou Community Phoenix (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 23. South Gate will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Hawkins (Los Angeles, CA).
