The Irvine Vaqueros volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Westminster Lions to 0 in the Vaqueros non-league victory on Saturday.

The Vaqueros now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saugus for a non-league game on Saturday, August 19. Irvine will meet a Centurions team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Highland (Palmdale, CA). The Centurions record now stands at 2-0.

The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Rosary Academy (Fullerton, CA). The Royals enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Rosary Academy gained a win over Troy (Fullerton, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
