The Jackson County Generals volleyball team (McKee, KY), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Owsley County Owls / Lady Owls (Booneville, KY)

The Owls / Lady Owls (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hazard (Hazard, KY). The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Hazard was nudged by Breathitt County (Jackson, KY), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Generals encounter the Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 21. Jackson County will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Colonels enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over North Laurel (London, KY).
