In Saturday's non-league contest, the Lakota East Thunderhawks (Liberty Township, OH) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Walnut Hills Eagles (Cincinnati, OH), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Thunderhawks face the Seton Saints (Cincinnati, OH) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 24. Lakota East will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.

With the loss, Walnut Hills moves to 0-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Turpin (Cincinnati, OH) to face the Spartans in a Eastern Cincinnati contest on Tuesday, August 22.
