The Lubbock Westerners volleyball team (Lubbock, TX), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Water Valley Wildcats (Water Valley, TX)

The Wildcats (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Wink (Wink, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Wink was dropped by Americas (El Paso, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Westerners meet the Pecos Eagles (Pecos, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 22. Lubbock will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Ropes (Ropesville, TX).
