In Saturday's non-league contest, the Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA) volleyball squad were winner over the host Maryknoll Spartans (Honolulu, HI), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Westridge Tigers (Pasadena, CA) in a Prep contest, on Wednesday, August 23. Polytechnic will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Flintridge Sacred Heart (La Canada-Flintridge, CA).

With the loss, Maryknoll moves to 1-1 on the year. The Spartans host Punahou (Honolulu, HI) to battle the Buff n' Blue in a Interscholastic League contest on Thursday, September 21. The Buff n' Blue go into the contest with a record of 13-1.
