The Montwood Rams held off the host Wall Hawks volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Rams now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Americas for a 6A Region I District 1 test on Tuesday, August 22. Montwood will confront a Trail Blazers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Alpine (Alpine, TX). The Trail Blazers record now stands at 10-2.

The Hawks (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Snyder (Snyder, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Snyder was nudged by Wichita Falls (Wichita Falls, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
