The Newman International Academy Warriors topped the host UME Preparatory Academy EAGLES volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Warriors now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westlake Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 22. Newman International Academy will confront a Blacksmiths team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Pantego Christian (Arlington, TX). The Blacksmiths record now stands at 0-1.
The EAGLES (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Waxahachie Prep (Waxahachie, TX). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Waxahachie Prep was knocked off by DasCHE (Cedar Hill, TX), 3-1, in a non-league test.
