In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Pierce County Bears volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Thomasville Bulldogs.
The Bears (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA). The Warriors come into the 2A Area 3 battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Tattnall County was edged by Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs clash with the North Florida Christian Eagles (Tallahassee, FL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 22. Thomasville will attempt to advance on its 1-9 season record.
