The Plainview Bulldogs held off the host Sonora Broncos volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs now have a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shallowater for a non-league test on Monday, August 21. Plainview will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Windthorst (Windthorst, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-5.

The Broncos (0-3) will now prepare for their test against McCamey (McCamey, TX). The Badgers enter the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, McCamey held off Balmorhea (Balmorhea, TX), 3-1, in a non-league test.
