In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Scurry-Rosser Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Tidehaven Tigers.
The Wildcats (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Columbia (West Columbia, TX). The Roughnecks come into the non-league battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Columbia lost by Palacios (Palacios, TX), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Sacred Heart Indians (Hallettsville, TX) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 22. Tidehaven will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Indians come into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Yorktown (Yorktown, TX).
