The Spartans now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Anderson County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 20. Webb will play a Mavericks squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Halls (Knoxville, TN). The Mavericks record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Alcoa moves to 1-2 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to Heritage (Maryville, TN) to play the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 22. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Heritage won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Karns (Knoxville, TN)
