In Monday's non-league contest, the South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) soccer team edged the host Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC), by a tally of 2-1.

Next, the Tigers face the Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 22. South View will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Bucks enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC).
