The Carson Cougars held off the host North Davidson Black Knights soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Monday's non-league game.

Next, the Cougars face the North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, August 21. Carson will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.

The Black Knights (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Lake Norman edged Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC), 8-1, in a non-league game.
