The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Woodstock Wolverines (Woodstock, GA) and the host Paulding County Patriots (Dallas, GA), observed Woodstock's softball team get by Paulding County by a final score of 5-3.
The Wolverines (5-4) will now prepare for their bout against Pope (Marietta, GA). The Greyhounds go into the 5A Region 6 bout with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, Pope tipped Lambert (Suwanee, GA), 8-1, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Osborne Cardinals (Marietta, GA) in a 6A Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, August 20. Paulding County will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 15-0 league loss to McEachern (Powder Springs, GA).
