Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Metter Tigers (Metter, GA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, August 21. Toombs County will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 3-2 record after their 6-3 league win over Claxton (Claxton, GA).

The Bulldogs (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Johnson County was routed by Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA), 13-9, in a non-league test.
