California High School Flag Football - Covina holds off Don Lugo

August 19, 2025: Covina, CA 91723

The Covina Colts (Covina, CA) flag football tipped the visiting Don Lugo Conquistadores (Chino, CA), 18-12 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Colts face the Bonita Bearcats (La Verne, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 23. Covina will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Bearcats enter the game with a 5-1 record after their 40-6 non-league win over St. Lucy's (Glendora, CA).

The Conquistadores (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Western Christian (Upland, CA). The Fighting Lancers enter the non-league outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Western Christian edged Santiago (Corona, CA), 33-13, in a non-league outing.
