The Yorktown Tigers soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Blackford Bruins to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now hold a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anderson for a non-league game on Wednesday, August 20.
The Bruins (0-1) will now prepare for their game against South Adams (Berne, IN). The Starfires enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, South Adams was overwhelmed by Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian (Fort Wayne, IN), 6-0, in a non-league game.
