The Penn Kingsmen soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting New Prairie Cougars to 0 in the Kingsmen league victory on Tuesday.
The Kingsmen now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Valparaiso for a non-league bout on Friday, August 22. Penn will face a Vikings team coming off a 8-1 league win over Portage (Portage, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 1-1.
The Cougars (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Trinity Greenlawn (South Bend, IN). The Titans come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Trinity Greenlawn edged Argos (Argos, IN), 3-0, in a non-league game.
