The Concord Minutemen soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host NorthWood Panthers to 0 in the Minutemen league victory on Tuesday.
The Minutemen now possess a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Homestead for a non-league game on Saturday, August 23. Concord will face a Spartans team coming off a 1-1 non-league Fort Wayne Northrop (Fort Wayne, IN). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.
The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Bethany Christian (Goshen, IN). The Bruins come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Bethany Christian edged Lakewood Park Christian (Auburn, IN), 4-1, in a non-league game.
