In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Muhlenberg County Mustangs soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the Trigg County Wildcats.

The Mustangs (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lyon County (Eddyville, KY). The Lyons go into the non-league outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Lyon County was edged by University Heights (Hopkinsville, KY), 8-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Hopkins County Central Storm (Madisonville, KY) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 21. Trigg County will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Storm come into the test with a 2-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Todd County Central (Elkton, KY).
