South Webster Jeeps (South Webster, OH) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host St. Joseph Central Flyers (Ironton, OH), 4-2 in a non-league test.
With the victory, South Webster improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Jeeps travel to Waverly (Waverly, OH) to confront the Tigers in a Southern Ohio II outing on Thursday, August 21. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 1-0. Waverly won 8-3 in their recent non-league test against Western (Latham, OH)
The Flyers now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lynchburg-Clay for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. St. Joseph Central will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Unioto (Chillicothe, OH). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-0.
