The Fairland Owls softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Afton Eagles to 0 in the Owls league win on Tuesday.

The Owls now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wyandotte for a 2A battle on Thursday, August 21.

The Eagles (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Chouteau-Mazie (Chouteau, OK). The Wildcats enter the 2A challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Chouteau-Mazie overcame Rejoice Christian (Owasso, OK), 15-2, in a league challenge.
