The Elk City Elks the visiting Bridge Creek Bobcats softball squad by a count of 6-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Elks play the Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish (Oklahoma City, OK) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 29. Elk City will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record.

With the loss, Bridge Creek moves to 4-4 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Tuttle (Tuttle, OK) to confront the Tigers in a 4A District 2 battle on Thursday, August 21.
