Ohio High School Volleyball - Alexander over Federal Hocking

Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Alexander Spartans (Albany, OH) and the visiting Federal Hocking Lancers (Stewart, OH), saw Alexander's volleyball squad notch a victory over Federal Hocking by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Alexander improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Jackson (Jackson, OH) to encounter the Ironman/Ironladies in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 21. The Ironman/Ironladies go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Jackson won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Paint Valley (Bainbridge, OH)

The Lancers now own a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Belpre for a Tri-Valley - Hocking challenge on Thursday, August 21. Federal Hocking will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Frontier (New Matamoras, OH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
