North Carolina High School Volleyball - Middle Creek can't hold off Apex Friendship

In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) volleyball team held off the host Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC), by a margin of 3-2.

The Patriots now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Green Hope for a Quad City Seven 8A bout on Tuesday, August 26. Apex Friendship will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 6-0.

Next, the Mustangs battle the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 21. Middle Creek will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 4-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Cary (Cary, NC).
