In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Azle Hornets (Azle, TX) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Holliday Eagles (Holliday, TX), by a margin of 3-0.
The Hornets now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Ryan for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 21. Azle will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 6-3.
The Eagles (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Springtown (Springtown, TX). The Porcupines enter the non-league match with a 10-1 record. In their last match, Springtown was outscored by Mansfield (Mansfield, TX), 2-1, in a non-league match.
