In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Bedford North Lawrence Stars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Mitchell Bluejackets.
The Stars (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Borden (Borden, IN). The Braves go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Borden achieved victory over Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Bluejackets now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paoli for a Patoka Lake test on Thursday, August 21. Mitchell will play a Rams team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to North Daviess (Elnora, IN). The Rams record now stands at 0-1.
