The Ripley Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Belmont Cardinals to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Byhalia for a non-league game on Thursday, August 21. Ripley will face a Indians squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Independence (Independence, MS). The Indians record now stands at 0-2.

The Cardinals (7-8) will now prepare for their game against Hatley (Amory, MS). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 5-6 record. In their last outing, Hatley defeated Nettleton (Nettleton, MS), 3-2, in a non-league outing.
