In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Westminster Lions volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Bolsa Grande Matadors.

The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cerritos (Cerritos, CA). The Dons enter the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record.

In their next game, the Matadors face the Garden Grove Argonauts (Garden Grove, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 22. Bolsa Grande will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Argonauts go into the test with a 1-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA).
