The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 6-5. Ponder won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Celina (Celina, TX)

Next, the Cadets meet the Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 21. Connally will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Trail Blazers go into the test with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Coronado (El Paso, TX).
