Texas High School Volleyball - Cornerstone Christian over La Vernia

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Cornerstone Christian Warriors volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the La Vernia Bears.

The Warriors (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool (San Antonio, TX). The come into the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool beat Judson (Converse, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bears meet the Westlake Chaparrals (Austin, TX) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 21. La Vernia will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record. The Chaparrals go into the test with a 9-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Anderson (Austin, TX).
