The Indians (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Chisum (Paris, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Chisum achieved victory over New Boston (New Boston, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Broncos now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blooming Grove for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 21. Denton will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Perrin-Whitt (Perrin, TX). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.
