Tennessee High School Volleyball - Hernando over Evangelical Christian

The Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS) volleyball knocked off the host Evangelical Christian Eagles (Cordova, TN), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Tupelo for a contest on Thursday, August 21. Hernando will battle a Golden Wave team coming off a 3-0 league loss to DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS). The Golden Wave record now stands at 7-5.

Next, the Eagles battle the St. Agnes Academy Stars (Memphis, TN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 21. Evangelical Christian will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Stars enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 league loss to St. Mary's Episcopal (Memphis, TN).
