Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the FAU High Owls (Boca Raton, FL) and the host Lake Worth Christian Defenders (Boynton Beach, FL), observed FAU High's volleyball team hold off Lake Worth Christian by a count of 3-2.

The Owls (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against North Broward Prep (Coconut Creek, FL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Defenders encounter the Palm Beach Central Broncos (Wellington, FL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 21.
