The Kings Mountain Mountaineers topped the visiting Franklin Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Mountaineers confront the Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, August 20. Kings Mountain will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record. The Blue Devils come into the outing with a 3-1 record after their 3-0 league win over West Iredell (Statesville, NC).

With the loss, Franklin drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC) to play the Eagles in a Mountain Eight 4A/5A match on Thursday, August 21. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 0-2. East Henderson lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC)
