The Eagles (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Sonora (Sonora, TX). The Broncos come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Sonora was beaten by Sterling City (Sterling City, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chiefs/Maidens meet the Lubbock-Cooper Pirates (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 22. Lake View will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Frenship (Wolfforth, TX).
