The Palisades Pumas volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Mallard Creek Mavericks to 0 in the Pumas non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pumas now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Butler for a non-league game on Wednesday, August 20. Palisades will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Forestview (Gastonia, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.

The Mavericks (0-4) will now prepare for their game against East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, East Mecklenburg was dropped by Myers Park (Charlotte, NC), 3-1, in a non-league game.
