Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions (Chardon, OH) and the visiting Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH), observed Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin's volleyball team top Mentor by a count of 3-1.

The Cardinals now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seton for a non-league battle on Friday, August 22. Mentor will meet a Saints team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Oak Hills (Cincinnati, OH). The Saints record now stands at 2-0.
