The Shorecrest Prep Chargers volleyball squad (St. Petersburg, FL), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL)

With the win, Mitchell moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Mustangs host Gulf (New Port Richey, FL) to battle the Buccaneers in a non-league contest on Thursday, August 21. The Buccaneers enter the contest with a record of 0-1. Gulf lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Pasco (Dade City, FL)

Next, the Chargers battle the Northeast Vikings (St. Petersburg, FL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, August 27. Shorecrest Prep will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Palm Harbor University (Palm Harbor, FL).
