The Eagles now possess a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jefferson County for a Class 3A Region 7 match on Thursday, August 21. South Pike will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Wilkinson County (Woodville, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 3-2.

The Bulldogs (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Terry (Terry, MS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Terry fell by Brookhaven (Brookhaven, MS), 3-1, in a non-league bout.
