The Royals go into the battle with a record of 3-6. Richland lost 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Franklin (El Paso, TX)

The Mustangs now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Allen for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 22. Pearce will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-2 league win over Plano East (Plano, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 8-1.
