The Northwest Whitfield Bruins (Tunnel Hill, GA) volleyball overcame the host Ringgold Tigers (Ringgold, GA), 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league match.

Next up, the Bruins battle the Heritage Generals (Ringgold, GA) in a 3A Area 7 match, on Thursday, August 21. Northwest Whitfield will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Generals enter the match with a 5-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Oakwood Christian (Chickamauga, GA).

The Tigers (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA). The Raiders enter the non-league match with a 5-5 record. In their last match, Southeast Whitfield County notched a victory over Ridgeland (Rossville, GA), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
