Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Petrolia Pirates (Petrolia, TX) and the visiting Quanah Indians (Quanah, TX), observed Petrolia's volleyball team hold off Quanah by a count of 3-2.

The Pirates (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Garner (Weatherford, TX). The Longhorns enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Garner was tipped by Brock (Brock, TX), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Indians meet the Knox City Greyhounds (Knox City, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 23. Quanah will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record.
