In Tuesday's non-league bout, the St. Mary's Academy Bobcats (Fairburn, GA) volleyball team knocked off the visiting The Campus Griffin (Peachtree City, GA), by a margin of 3-0.
The Bobcats now possess a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage for a GIAA 1AA bout on Tuesday, August 26. St. Mary's Academy will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Dominion Christian (Marietta, GA). The Hawks record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, The Campus falls to 0-2 on the year. The Griffin travel to Harp's Crossing Christian (Fayetteville, GA) to battle the Lions in a GAPPS DI-A Region 2 battle on Thursday, August 21. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Harp's Crossing Christian lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against CrossPointe Christian Academy (Williamson, GA)
