North Carolina High School Volleyball - Union Pines tips Uwharrie Charter Academy

The Union Pines Vikings volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles to 2 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pinecrest for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 21. Union Pines will play a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Uwharrie Charter Academy drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Southern Alamance (Graham, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 21. The Patriots come into the outing with a record of 0-3. Southern Alamance lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC)
