Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Pearl Pirates (Pearl, MS), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Alcorn Central improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Bears travel to Union (Union, MS) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Saturday, August 2. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Pirates now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 5. Pearl will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Alcorn Central (Glen, MS). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-1.
